After a week that felt like we were taking one step forward and four steps back, I am looking for little things to celebrate — actually, any little bit of progress.

I am pleased to announce that the third floor guest bath is now completely done! Chris got the marble top in for the millwork and the mirror that goes behind it. It looks beautiful and will provide lots of function to my guests who might need more than one area to freshen up.

I on the other hand, got all the curtains hemmed and up in the "Red Velvet Cupcake" guest room. They frame the windows nicely, provide a little black out coverage when needed and breakup the sea of red a bit.

Hopefully, this will help prevent those nightmares about being eaten by "Red Velvet" cupcake batter.

Guest Room, Guest/Room Office, Laundry, Guest Bath and Master Bedroom down... Master Bath, Kitchen, Sitting Room, Living Room and Powder Room to go!

Not bad for four months work.
