There are many places in my house where I need a little fortification. However I wasn't willing to sacrifice my house's esthetic for security and frankly I didn't believe I had to.

Joseph took the time to create safe, non-slip submarine steps into my cellar that are so much better than the single pole ladder steps that were there before.

And a beautiful and rat proof door leading to the apartment entry under my stoop.

Next stop will be a treatment for the new ground floor windows and a deck in the back year.
