I've always wanted a special little space of my own, that was both secluded and private — where I could take a self-assigned and very grownup "time out."

Now, thanks to the 10 foot extension I've added to the back of the house, I was able to add a special and very private terrace that is all of that.

Just steps from my Master Bedroom I can now enjoy views of my garden down below and closer by, a mini potted garden of roses and azaleas.

The access and the views make my morning coffee or evening cocktail all that more enjoyable.
