The past two weeks have been nothing but progress and with the house closed up I am now ready for winter.

The guys at Family Masonry have been unbelievable with the brick and finishing the lentils around the sliding doors. They are even re-installing my pavers underneath where the deck will go and the throughout the rest of the backyard. I can't wait for next spring when the garden is in full bloom and not full of construction materials.

The brick has now gone up on the 2 story extension which means that now we can bring on winter. Fortunately as we have been closing up the outside of the addition, the weather has cooperated by bringing us if not an Indian Summer, certainly a balmy October and November. It is completely beautiful, but who knew that Brick was a precious stone in which I have now made a significant investment. Enjoy the pictures.

And fingers crossed, it looks like I am getting a finished house for Christmas!
