The previous owner had a weird set up for the laundry. I guess it could be considered really convenient if you liked to do laundry while sitting on the toilet;

I ripped out the closet on both the bathroom side and the Guest room side and then split it in two. On one side, I would put the laundry,

and on the other side I would build in a vanity and linen storage.

I got the new LG DLEX4270W Washer, which is huge and the WM4270HWA Dryer. They are both extremely luxurious by the standards of my previous machines. The hold 7.4 cubic feet of laundry! And despite their size, they stack nicely.

Alas, when ConEdison arrived to address my lack of 220, I was informed that they consider laundry a luxury item and they scheduled me for an appointment to fix my 220 connection on March 24th, more than a month away.

Fortunately, I still had access to my machines at One Hanson Place until the end of February, and with another full day using Christopher and Lauren's machines, I think I can make it to my deadline.
