This is a story about a girl, a brownstone and a renovation in Brooklyn.
To tell you the truth, it's not about the house.
It's about the relationship between the girl and her power tools
and the delight she finds in discovering grout,
composting and wall mounted toilets.
It's about the character building that occurs when trying to place
a straight edge on a wavy wall, in graciously accepting 300 lb. curbside deliveries, or in having to choose between making something level
or making something look right.
Of course, to hear her tell it — it's all about the house.
